ABOUT COMPANY

Our Engineering Heritage

For over four decades, Stream Marine has evolved through technical depth, disciplined growth, and a commitment to engineering integrity.
What defines the company is not only the sectors it serves, but the way it operates - structured, analytical, and solution driven. Our approach is rooted in rigorous design methodology, cross-disciplinary expertise, and long-term technical stewardship.
From initial system concept to lifecycle optimisation, we operate with clarity of process and accountability for outcome. This culture of engineering responsibility underpins every project we undertake.
Headquartered in London and operating internationally, Stream Marine works alongside its sister divisions in defence and environmental services - strengthening our technical perspective across complementary sectors.

OUR APPROACH

Beyond Systems

Stream Marine is built on the understanding that marine engineering is not simply about equipment specification, but about responsibility for operational continuity, onboard wellbeing, and technical decisions that remain in service for years to come.
Our contribution lies in judgement as much as engineering. We assess trade-offs, anticipate constraints, and define solutions with long-term operational clarity in mind.
In an industry where conditions are rarely static, our approach remains consistent: measured, structured, and accountable.

Performance designed around people

Because the best technical systems are the ones you never have to think about.

OUR WORK

Engineering in action

Yachter

Lord Nelson Tall Ship

Accessible Sailing Upgrade.

When Jubilee Sailing Trust required a full HVAC upgrade, we designed, supplied and commissioned a complete chiller replacement including air handlers, controllers and pumps. The system was delivered within a demanding schedule while optimising onboard space and ensuring reliable long-term performance at sea.

Oceancruiser 60c

Chilled Water HVAC System.

This blue water cruiser was fitted with a chilled water HVAC system that required intervention shortly after delivery. We attended the vessel in Brittany, identified integration issues between the chiller soft-start and inverter power supply, and restored stable system performance with improved operational reliability.

Van Der Valk Cruiser

Chilled Water HVAC System.

This steel-hulled fast yacht experienced persistent HVAC faults across several Mediterranean ports. Chillers repeatedly tripped, water flow stopped and unexpected shutdowns occurred. Through detailed technical investigation and coordinated system optimisation, we resolved the issues and returned the vessel to dependable service.

Freight Hovercraft

DC rooftop Cooling Unit.

Designed for South American river operations, this overcraft required robust cooling performance in extreme heat. We delivered a rugged, marinised DC-powered rooftop unit engineered for harsh delta environments, taking the system from concept and specification through installation and full operational deployment.

Subahi Class Boats

Fleet HVAC Programme.

We replaced the air conditioning systems on ten Subahi Class patrol boats for the Kuwaiti Coastguard. Working within tight operational schedules, we supplied and installed upgrdted marine HVAC equipment to improve reliability in demanding Gulf conditions. The programme was delivered efficiently while ensuring minimal disruption to fleet availability and supporting sustained operational readiness.

Sanlorenzo 52m Yacht

HVAC Engineering Assessment.

We conducted a detailed HVAC engineering review on the Sanlorenzo 52m yacht "Toute Sweet", assessing system performance and reliability. Working within the vessel's configuration, we evaluated equipment layout, cooling capacity and integration with onboard systems. The report delivered clear technical guidance to optimise efficiency and support dependable long-term performance.

Wight Shipyard

Battery Cooling System.

We delivered a complete battery cooling system for the White Shipyard electric Thames Clipper vessel. Designed to support electric propulsion, the installation ensured stable temperature control and efficient thermal management under demanding conditions. From specification through commissioning, the project enhanced reliability while supporting sustainable innovation.
